Ivydene is a timber-framed and plastered building, likely dating from the 16th to 17th century. It features a thatched roof that is hipped at both the north and south ends. The building is one storey high with attics and has small casement windows, along with one dormer on the front. A ridge chimney stack is present. Inside, there are exposed ceiling beams and some exposed timber-framing. The building has been renovated.
