Description

Crownings is a former inn, originally known as the Crown Inn, dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is a timber-framed building that has been refaced in 19th century red brick. The roof is thatched and features a ridge chimney stack along with a modern dormer. There is a 19th century or later addition at the east end, which has a pantiled roof. The building has casement windows.
