Description

Applebough Spring Cottage is likely of mediaeval origin. It is a timber-framed building with plastered walls and a steeply pitched thatched roof, hipped at both the east and west ends. A central chimney stack rises from the ridge of the roof. The cottage has two storeys and originally featured a two-window range, now with modern casement windows.
