Description

No 12, known as Ancient House, is a 16th century timber-framed and plastered house located on the north side of Fen Street in Nayland with Wissington. The building has two storeys, with the upper storey of the main block jettied at the front. It features 18th century windows arranged in a 3:1 window range, consisting of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The roof is tiled with old tiles and has a gambrel shape at both the west end and the east wing.
