Description

Peyton Hall is an original timber-framed building, likely dating from the 15th century, with a cross wing at the south end. It features extensive additions from the 16th and 17th centuries, including a gabled wing that projects at the southern end. The building has two storeys, with the upper storey showcasing exposed timber-framing and casement windows that have old leaded lights. The roof is tiled. Inside, there is a notable 16th-century carved fireplace that is dated 1563.
