Description

This is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th to 17th centuries, situated at a right angle to Stone Street in Boxford. The building has later additions to its west end. It is two storeys in height. The ground storey is faced with painted brick. The upper storey is jettied at the east end, and on the south front it projects slightly, likely formerly jettied, and features a band of modern ornamental pargeting. Casement windows with leaded lights are present in the original block. The roofs are tiled, with a central ridge chimney stack.
