Description
This is a 17th-century range of buildings, substantially refronted in the late 19th century with red brick. The buildings, numbered 14, 16, and 18 on Broad Street, have steeply pitched pantile roofs with gabled ends; the roof of number 14 is slightly higher than the others, and number 18 has a projecting gable. The buildings are two storeys in height with five windows. They feature casement windows with two and three lights, set within stone surrounds and keyblocks. The ground floor of number 18 has a splayed bay. The entrances are glazed and panelled. Number 14 includes an elliptical-headed carriageway, with exposed joists on the interior. Brick chimney stacks are visible. Some parts of the rear are plastered.
