Description
Upgate Farmhouse is a 17th-century house constructed with a plastered timber frame. It features steep gable-ended roofs covered with pantiles; the south end has a higher roof with black glazed pantiles, while the north end has a lower roof than the central section. The building is a long range divided into three parts, with the north end serving as a later outbuilding. There are three widely spaced windows fitted with modern casements. In the center of the middle section, there is a panelled door that leads to a modern glazed porch. A brick chimney stack is located at the north end of the south section.
