Description

The churchyard walls of St Mary's Church are of medieval and later origin. The walls on the west and south sides are primarily constructed of flint and brick, topped with a massive stone coping. In contrast, the walls on the north and east sides are mainly made of red brick. These walls are associated with No 1 Church Street and the Saracen's Head Inn on Mount Street.
