Description
Central Stores and the adjoining house to the north in Pulham Market date from the 17th century. The building is timber-framed but was refronted in the mid to late 19th century and re-roofed in the 20th century. It features a red brick front and a black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. The structure is two storeys high and has five windows, which include painted stone heads with keyblocks and sashes without glazing bars. The Central Stores has a projecting late 19th-century shopfront, while the adjoining house features a panelled door. The rear wall is timber-framed and roughcast. Inside, there are some exposed timber-framing elements, chamfered beams, and a massive chimney stack that is off centre and rebuilt at the top.
