Description

Ivy Cottage and the cottages occupied by Mr. Balomfield and Mr. Abon are an early 19th century row of cottages located on the east side of Norwich Road in Dickleburgh. They are constructed of red brick and feature a black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and overhanging eaves. The buildings are two storeys high and have four widely spaced three-light casement windows, with the right-hand window being blind. The ground floor has flat brick arches above the windows. The cottage on the left has a later addition of a canted bay window with glazing bars and a door framed in a moulded architrave with a cornice. The central cottage has a plain boarded door, while the cottage on the right has blind front windows. There are brick chimney stacks present on the buildings.
