Description

The King's Head Inn is a 17th-century timber-framed building located on the west side of Norwich Road in Dickleburgh. The ground floor is plastered, while the first floor features applied sham timber-framing. It has a steeply pitched gable-ended roof covered with new tiles and consists of two storeys plus an attic. The inn has five windows, which are three-light mullion/transom casements. The entrance features a moulded doorcase with a rectangular fanlight and a fielded panel door. There are two gabled dormers on the roof, and a notable brick chimney stack with four octagonal shafts and moulded brick bases. At the rear, there is a wing that includes a large four-light wood mullion/transom window.
