Description

No. 37 The Thoroughfare is a 17th-century timber-framed building that was refronted in the early to mid-19th century. It features a painted brick front with a parapet and stands two storeys tall. The façade has two windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars and stone heads that include keyblocks. The ground floor has a Victorian shopfront with a large sash window and a fascia above, along with a doorway to the right that has a hood supported by shaped brackets. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with pantiles, featuring gabled ends. Inside, the building has chamfered beams.
