Description
Ivy Farmhouse, likely built in the 17th century, is a timber-framed house with a plastered exterior. It features a later black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends, adorned with late 19th-century shaped and pierced barge boards. There is a brick chimney stack at each end, one being off-center. The house has two storeys and four widely spaced windows, which are early 19th-century three-light casements, some with leaded panes. A late 19th-century gabled porch with ornate shaped and pierced barge boards adds to its character.
Adjoining the farmhouse at right angles to the northwest is a dairy and stable range from the 18th century, also timber-framed and plastered. This range has steep pantile roofs with gabled ends and pierced and shaped barge boards. The dairy has two storeys, while the adjoining stable and coach house are lower with one storey.
