Description

This is an early 18th century timber-frame range of cottages, located on The Street in Aldburgh. The building is mostly plastered, with the left-hand section, Holly Cottage, partially brick-faced. It has a pantile roof with gabled ends, and a brick chimney stack slightly off-centre. The cottages are one storey in height with an attic space. Holly Cottage features two gabled dormers, casement windows, and a modern entrance door. Rose Cottage has modern casement windows and a lean-to porch on one end.
