Description

Denton Lodge is an 18th-century house constructed of colour-washed brick and topped with a black glazed pantile roof featuring coped gable ends and modillion eaves. The building is two storeys high and has five bays. It includes sash windows with glazing bars and louvred shutters. The central doorway is framed by a Tuscan pilastered doorcase, topped with an open pediment, and features a semi-circular fanlight above a fielded panel door. There are chimney stacks at each end of the house. To the northwest, there is a lower two-storey wing with a hipped pantile roof.
