Description

Meadow Cottage is a late 16th-century house that features a timber frame and is rendered. It has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and an off-centre brick chimney stack. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, all of which are modern casements. There is a doorway with a modern porch located in front of the chimney stack. On the east end, there is a modern one-storey extension. Inside, the cottage has stopped and chamfered ceiling beams and joists, with the beams supported on carved posts. Additionally, there is a four-centred arch doorway in the attic.
