Description

The King's Head Public House is a 17th-century timber-frame building that has been rendered and features a facade designed to mimic timber framing. It has steep pantile roofs with gable ends and is L-shaped in plan. The earlier section of the building runs at right angles to the road and includes an off-centre brick chimney stack. This part is two storeys tall and has a modern lean-to addition. The later 17th-century timber-frame wing faces The Street to the northeast and is slightly taller, featuring a coved eaves soffit. The windows are all modern casements, with some including glazing bars.
