Description
Priory Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed house now in ruins. The timber structure is partly plastered, but much of the infilling has fallen out, leaving a skeleton on the south side. The north side is faced with brick from the late 19th century. The building has a steep gable-ended roof, with almost all of the tiles missing. It is two storeys high and features about five widely spaced first-floor window openings. The ground floor has three or four door openings, although most of the window and door frames are missing. Inside, the timber framing is exposed, with some stone partitions remaining and much of the infilling missing. Most of the floors have collapsed, revealing some stop-chamfered beams. A large brick chimney stack in the center of the building is almost entirely razed to the ground.
