Description

Home Farmhouse is a building with a late 18th-century front section constructed of red brick, and a 17th-century rear section built of flint with brick dressings. It has a black pantile roof. The front facade is two stories and five bays wide, featuring four ground-floor and five first-floor sash windows with single glazing bars, set under rubbed brick arches. A wooden doorcase has pilasters, console brackets, and a baseless pediment with a fanlight; the reveals and soffit are panelled, and the door is a four-panel design from the late 19th century. There is an 18th-century insurance plaque above the door. A lead rainwater head, dated to the 1780s, marks the terminus date for the front facade. The garden front has two ground-floor and three first-floor 19th-century casement windows and a door with a fanlight. A one-and-a-half-story flint and brick pantiled service wing extends from the rear.
