Description

Brinton Hall is a house built in 1822, designed in the Greek Revival style. It is constructed from gault brick and has a slated roof. The building is two stories high with a five-bay front and a four-bay return to the south. The ground floor features four sash windows and the first floor has five sash windows, all with glazing bars, set under flattened rubbed brick arches. There is a central porch supported by Greek Doric columns and antae, featuring an entablature and a partially glazed door. A brick plat-band string course runs along the first floor, and the prominent wooden eaves are topped by a shallow hipped roof with stacks that are recessed behind the ridge. At the rear, there is a notable tripartite stair window, which is also sashed with glazing bars.
