Description
The Dell is a pair of cottages that have been converted into a single dwelling, dating from the early 19th century and designed in the Gothick style. The building is constructed of flint with brick dressings and features a hipped slate roof. It has a rectangular plan and is a single storey high. The symmetrical facade consists of six bays, with doors located in the second and fifth bays, and four casement windows with Y glazing bars, all set beneath four-centred arches. A 20th-century conservatory has been added across the facade. The building is topped by a large central brick stack that has four octagonal shafts, each with moulded brick bases and caps.
