Description
The Vicarage, now a private house, dates from around 1780, with an earlier range at the rear. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a pantiled roof. The building has a double pile plan and features a facade made of knapped flint. It stands two storeys high with four bays. The entrance door is located in the third bay and is sheltered by a scalloped timber hood. To the left of the door are two 2-light cross casement windows, while to the right is a single 4-light cross casement. The first floor has a mix of windows, including one 3-light, two 2-light, and one single light cross casement, all of which are below scalloped hoods and arranged in an eccentric pattern. The roof is gabled with internal gable end stacks and a central ridge stack. At the rear, there is a wing from around 1760 made of whole flints. The ground floor is partly obscured by a 20th-century lean-to garage with a pantiled roof. The building also features scattered 19th and 20th-century windows, with gabled heads supported on brick kneelers.
