Description

The Library was built in 1759 as a Wesleyan Chapel. It features a red brick exterior with stucco, and has a hipped roof covered in pantiles. The entrance includes a doorway flanked by pilasters and topped with a cornice, with tall windows on either side that have metal glazing bars. The Library, along with Tinker's Hotel and the buildings at Nos 15 to 19 (odd), forms a group with St Helier.
