Description
The garden wall, entrance gates, and gate piers are located to the east of Dersingham Hall and date from the 18th century. The wall runs along Chapel Road and turns at right angles along Manor Road. It is constructed of rubble carstone with brick dressings and features a triangular section rubble coping. On Chapel Road, there are two square brick gate piers topped with stone copings and roundels, which enclose a pair of raised and fielded panelled gates with two leaves. There is also a blocked pedestrian wicket entrance to the west. On Manor Road, there is an arched pedestrian wicket made of brick with a boarded door. This structure is included for its group value with Dersingham Hall.
