Description
A row of memorial stones located between 2 and 12 metres south of the porch of the Church of All Saints, dating from the mid-18th century, is made of limestone and features various types of headstones.
The row includes: (a) a rectangular stone with a segmental top, flanked by fleshy lugs on either side, featuring a bowed circular inscription panel within a moulded surround; (b) a rectangular stone with a faceted top, which has a fielded square inscription panel below relief carvings of leaf trails and scrolls; (c) a rectangular stone with a faceted top, displaying an inscription panel with a segmental set-back head below a carved field that includes a Crown and Thorns; (d) a rectangular stone with a coved top, where a fielded inscription panel lies below a frieze of foliage and scrolls that contains a cherub head; and (e) a stone with a high segmental top that drops to lugs on the right and left, featuring a circular inscription panel below a carved head.
