Description
The Coach House to Hardingham Hall is a building dated 1878, featuring the initials H.W.B.E. (Edwards) on its principal gable. Constructed of brick with corrugated tile roofs, it is designed as a single pile that forms the entrance to a stable courtyard. The building is one storey high with an attic and consists of five bays that are highlighted by pilasters.
The central archway is semicircular headed and has its own roof and gables. The south-west gable is designed as a pediment, supported by a pair of triglyphs. The tympanum includes moulded brick decoration, showcasing the date, initials, and a crest. The flanking bays feature single windows with glazing bars set beneath skewback arches. A moulded dentil cornice runs along the top, and there are three former windows with pediments, also with glazing bars beneath segmental arches. Each dormer is flanked by moulded brick half medallions, and the building has parapet gables and decorative ridge tiles. Entrances are located on the courtyard side.
