Description
Manor Farm Barn is an 18th-century barn that has been converted to house grain silos. It features the initials "T.B." on the south gable end. The structure is built of brick and has a pantile roof, with a continuous outshut at the rear. The barn consists of eight bays, which are marked by two symmetrically positioned cart entrances and plain pilasters. There is decorative honeycomb brickwork in the ventilation openings and a sawtooth cornice along the top. The gables show signs of tumbling-in. There are later lower additions on the west gable end and the south side, as well as a 20th-century building to the north. The barn has an eight-bay roof that originally featured arch-braced ties, collars, and two sets of butt purlins, with the upper set being angled and square in section.
