Description
Bullens Farm Barn is a barn dating from around 1700. It is timber framed with wattle and daub infilling, topped by a steep gabled roof made of pantiles and corrugated tiles. The barn has a one-storey gabled transept entrance at the eaves line, with a weatherboarded exterior resting on a brick plinth. There is one window on either side of the entrance, with the left window set in a rebuilt brick wall. An outshut extends to the south, while another outshut to the north leads to a clay lump stable wing, which is also covered in pantiles. The west front features full height double wagon doors, with a single window to the left under the eaves. Inside, the barn has tie beams supported by braces, queen posts with collars, and two tiers of staggered butt purlins.
