Priory remains. Founded before 1148 by William de Warenne, 3rd Earl of Surrey. Dissolved 1536 and church converted to a barn. Flint with some ashlar dressings remaining. No roof. Remains are those of the nave of the church. Openings blocked and central C18 four-centred barn doors opened in middle of north and south walls, later blocked in their turn. Doorway at north-west corner with wave mouldings to the stilted arch is early C14; it led to the cloister walk on north side.
