Description
The Grove is a house dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, with substantial later alterations in the late 17th and 18th centuries. The house has a timber frame with a red brick facade; the left gable end is plastered. It features a very steeply pitched machine tile roof. The house is two storeys high, with 20th-century casement windows, those on the ground floor having segmental heads. A plank door is located on the left end. Architectural details include corbelled brick dentilled eaves. Internally, there is a crown post roof. A single-storey wing of 18th-century origin extends from the left side, and a 20th-century garage is situated on the right.
