Description

This is a mid-18th century range of five small, two-storey houses located on the north side of Tilehouse Street. The houses are constructed of chequered red and blue-grey bricks, with a steeply pitched tiled roof and moulded wooden eaves. They have five sash windows, all set in flush frames. The doors are simple and mostly appear to have been added later. Nos 70 to 75, Nos 77 and 78, and Nos 81 to 84 form a group.
