Description
This is a building on Woolgrove Road, formerly two dwellings, numbers 89 and 91. The structure likely dates to the 17th century or earlier, although it has a later front of red brick. This brickwork features a segmental gable flanked by parapets, with taller quadrant ends projecting on ovolo corbels. The building is two storeys high, with two sash windows featuring glazing bars, set in reveals under segmental arches. A long back wing exists, constructed partially of weatherboard and partially of brick and plaster, and includes a first-floor band and two gabled dormers. A 17th or earlier timber-framed north wing is tarred and weatherboarded, with a thatched roof. This wing is single-storey with attics, and has two flush sash windows with glazing bars. A central door is situated under a semi-circular hood. The north side of the building displays a red and yellow brick elevation.
