Description

Nos 43 and 45 on High Street are early to mid 18th century buildings that have been altered. They are constructed of plum-colored brick with red brick dressings and quoins. The buildings feature modern shops on the ground floor. They rise to three storeys and have angle pilasters, a moulded and dentil-cut brick cornice, a modern parapet, and a hipped roof covered with old tiles. There are four segmentally arched sash windows, with moulded sills on the second floor. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 29 to 67 (odd) and No 45A.
