Description

29 and 30 Sun Street is a three-storey brick building dating from around 1700. It shares some character with The Sun pub directly opposite, although it has less intricate detailing. The building features blue brick with red dressings, moulded and recessed eaves, and a half-hipped slate roof that includes two square dormers. There are seven windows with broad flush frames; notably, the central window on the first floor has a uniquely shaped arch that includes three fleur-de-lys alongside the usual alternating curves. The ground floor has 19th-century and modern shop windows. Nos 13 to 34 Sun Street form a group with this building.
