Description

No. 5 Melbourn Street is a building from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a red brick exterior and a hipped tiled roof with a cut brick cornice. The building stands three storeys tall and has three sash windows in moulded frames, each set under flat arches with keystones. There are later 19th-century shop windows that include a cornice hood supported by foliated consoles. Additionally, the west side elevation displays pargetting. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 3 to 8 Melbourn Street.
