Description

Albury Lodge House is an early 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building originally in an ā€˜E’ shape. The building has undergone substantial alterations in the 19th century and more recently. The east front features end cross wings, with two gables to the main block. The entire building is now faced in red brick, and the windows are modern. The west side is now the front elevation and features several small, modern gabled wings. A surviving original chimney stack is located at the junction of the main block and the north wing, with shafts set diagonally. The interior has been entirely rearranged.
