Description

Clapgate Cottage is a 17th to 18th century cottage that features a timber frame, which is plastered and weatherboarded, topped with a thatched roof. The building stands two storeys high and has early casement windows. There is a central doorway that is now fully glazed, and a central brick chimney stack. A modern extension has been added to the rear of the cottage.
