Description

The Nine Bay Barn at Green Farm, dated 1863, is a 19th-century structure. It features a timber frame with brick outer walls and a corrugated iron roof. The barn is one storey high and consists of nine bays arranged in a double aisle. There are three gabled entrances and a decorative range of arched recesses in the brickwork, arranged in a pattern of 3:5:5:3. The upper part of the brick walls has a honeycomb design that allows for ventilation. Inside, there are three raised lofts located between the cart entrances.
