Description
No. 52 Port Vale is a lodge to 'The Grove', built around 1840, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed from yellow-grey gault brick and features a hipped Welsh slated roof with a central chimneystack that has three yellow clay pots.
The exterior is a single-storey structure with a canted plan. The entrance is set back beneath a porch supported by chamfered timber columns. There is a recessed 16-pane sash window and a 20th-century half-glazed hardwood door. The interior has not been inspected.
