Description

Box Lane Court is an 18th and 19th century building, likely originally a row of dwellings. It is two storeys high, constructed of whitewashed brick with old tiled roofs. The building comprises a projecting central block on the left and a main block. The projecting block has a plinth and bands to the first floor. It features 1:5:2 sash windows with glazing bars. The main block has architrave surrounds to the windows and includes two box dormers. A frieze, cornice and parapet run along the top. The entrance features a six-panelled door, with two glazed panels and an oblong fanlight containing geometrical glazing bars. The door is set within a reveal, architrave surround, and topped with a cornice resting on consoles.
