Description
Pendley Manor Lodge is a gate lodge dating to around 1875, built for Joseph Grant Williams, likely by Walter F.K. Lyon, who was the architect for Pendley Manor itself (constructed circa 1874-75). The lodge was built in a similar style to the manor. It is constructed of red brick with a half-timbered first floor, and has steep red tile roofs. The building is an irregular one and a half storeys, featuring a two-storey gabled section facing the road to the north. A roof extends over an open timber porch on the west side, adjacent to the drive. The ground floor has small-pane casement windows with segmental arches.
