Description

The Temple Coach House is an early and late 18th-century stable and cottage range, located on the north side of Old Park Ride in Waltham Cross. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick, weatherboarding, and has old tile roofs. It comprises an east block with a four-window, parapeted front, featuring a plain pilaster on the west end and raised gables. A central, louvred weathervane sits atop the roof. The front elevation has two ground-floor sash windows and some 18th-century shutters. The rear elevation displays early 18th-century brickwork, while the east gable end features a bracketed pigeon box. Two timber-frame blocks are situated on the west side, with modern casement windows.
