Description

Briscoe Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered building that dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and later renovations. The exterior has been cement rendered and features modern panel pargetting. The cottage is two storeys high with attics and has a three-window range of double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The central entrance is a modern 6-panel door, set within a doorcase that has pilasters and a cornice. The roof is tiled with old tiles and includes a coved plaster eaves cornice.
