Description

This is a house dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, originally known as Minchin's Farmhouse. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a red plain tile roof. The house has an "H" shape, featuring jettied and gabled crosswings to the east and west. The front has a 1, 2, 1 window range, with modern casement windows. Some of the original timber frame remains visible inside. The house sits on a moated site.
