Description

The White Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered building designed in an L-shaped plan. The east end is weather-boarded. It stands two storeys high, featuring a three-window arrangement on the north front and a two-window arrangement on the west front, both with modern casements. The north front includes a central doorway topped with a cornice hood. The roof is hipped and tiled, with small gables, and there is an external chimney stack at the south end with rectangular shafts.
