Number 1 (Boarded Cottage) and Number 2 is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered building, featuring a later extension at the west end. The structure has one storey and attics, with modern casement windows. The roof is thatched and includes five gabled dormers on the front, along with a central chimney stack. At the west end, there is a cruciform stack set on a square base.
