Description
Duck End Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, incorporating parts of an earlier structure. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features gabled cross-wings on both the left and right sides. The façade includes a four-window range with a mix of modern and 17th-century leaded casements. Above the modern gabled porch, there is a circular leaded light. The original chimney stacks have been partly rebuilt at the top, and the house displays cusped bargeboards. A modern date plaque indicates the year 1576. Internally, extensive remains of the frame can be seen.
