Description
Hole Farmhouse is an early 16th century timber-framed and plastered house featuring a cross wing at the north-east end, creating a T-shaped plan. The ground floor of the south-east front is faced in red brick, likely added in the 18th century, while the upper storey is plastered and has a scratch line finish resembling ashlar. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with leaded casements on the upper storey and double-hung sashes with glazing bars on the ground floor. The roof is tiled and includes a tall octagonal chimney stack next to a later rectangular stack. Inside, there are heavy exposed ceiling beams and joists.
