Description

Apple Tree Cottage is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered building, featuring some weather-boarding, and is positioned at right angles to the road. A modern wing has been added to the south at the west end. Originally built as cottages, it has now been converted into a single tenement and has undergone renovation. The building is one storey high with attics, and it has modern casement windows. The roof is thatched and half hipped at the east end, with four dormers on the south front and a central chimney stack.
